King of Juicy Medjoul Dates filled with Homemade Marzipan

Ingredients:

8 King of Juicy Medjoul Dates, medium

20 Peeled almonds

Preparation:

  1. Grind the almonds using a spice grinder until a paste is created.
  2. Slice the King of Juicy Medjoul Date lengthwise and remove the pits.  Prepare a small role of marzipan with your hands and fill the King of Juicy Medjoul Date.
  3. Cut each King of Juicy Medjoul Date into 3-4 equal parts and place on a paper baking cup.
